Remote Monitoring and Surveillance with Security Cameras

We have researched the most flexible camera solutions that provide a low cost, high performance and easily connected / maintained system in remote locations. The main advantages of PoE devices is that it allows the cameras to be operated remotely. This means the camera can be rebooted without having to go the camera’s location.

Our platform enables the integration of PoE (Power over Ethernet) IP (Internet Protocol) cameras to allow for maximum flexibility when setting up a localised surveillance system. Our first consideration was to remove the constraints of a standard CCTV system. IP camera’s use digital signals which allow for data / images to be transferred via a network to the internet / RPS User Interface or localised computer.

The RPS stations are powered by low voltage renewable solar and battery which is a perfect match as this enables centralized power management for continued surveillance independent of mains power that could suffer a power cut.

PoE also allows for multiple camera’s to be connected from various locations and managed directly through the RPS user interface via our HUM. Our selection of camera’s also allows for network video recording to be handled via a range of NVR’s or to record to any local / remote storage media.

The RPS camera range ensures that optimal functionality of area surveillance is available through PTZ versions of the same camera brand if required. Integration of flexible IP camera brands opens functionality of cameras capable of digital zoom and even Deep Learning.

Finally, PoE cameras film in H264 and MPEG codec, come with infrared LEDs, have higher resolution (1080p HD), have built in filters for optimal day and night visibility. Cameras can also take advantage of our integrated sensor lighting options.

RPS is integrated (but not limited to) Ubiquity, Amcrest, Xiaomi and Arlo POE Camera’s.
