Remote Health and Utilisation Monitoring with HUM Unit
The HUM™ has been developed to provide reliable remote asset tracking, health monitoring and equipment control combined into one compact, low cost, highly connective and versatile product. The remote Health & Utilisation Monitoring, or HUM™, is RPS’s proprietary solution that enables devices from any manufacturer to be integrated into your network.
The HUM device allows for the monitoring of the health of your entire off-grid system, providing data from the power produced as well as individual components, such as batteries and solar panels.
The HUM™ also monitors the health of nearly any other system or devices you require, including industrial machines, mobile equipment, water level sensors, moisture sensors, pressure gauges and more.
The HUM can also be used to control other equipment connected to the RPS Platform such as pumps, gates, lights, cameras, actuators and any other third-party equipment you need, including the equipment you already use.
Each asset further than 100m (line of sight) from the base station is connected wirelessly through the RPS network. Equipment can be controlled and monitored by localized units called HUM Out Stations, which is connected through the network to the primary HUM Base Station.
This set up is key to ensuring that equipment control failure is mitigated as each station is self-sufficient. If connection to the network is lost, your operational equipment keeps running based on the latest command instructions providing you with optimal reliability and control of each piece of equipment.
The HUM™, easily integrates into existing Internet of Things (IOT) devices currently on the market and is actively being updated to integrate with more devices and brands as they are released. We are happy to explore your specific equipment needs to the RPS platform as integration can be done irrespective of brand or manufacturer.
