RPS 500 Series Base Station
The RPS 500 series base station is a semi-portable power and communications infrastructure solution designed to support up to 600 Watts of continuous power draw with an effective redundancy of up to five (5) days on batteries alone. The base station is constructed from heavy gauge tube steel on a galvanised skid frame and is engineered to handle the harsh Australian environment.
This solution utilises twelve (12) high-efficiency 400-Watt solar panels using a patent pending sliding assembly allowing for safe, simple, and easy single-personnel deployment. Having a sliding array assembly enables compact stow for transport eliminating an elaborate set-up and pack-down process for multiple solar panels.
The base station feature batteries housed within two (2) ergonomically designed tray and sliding draw assembly to provide ease of access with the provision for the addition of more trays.
The base station supports a 17-metre aluminium lattice mast for the deployment equipment and includes two (2) IP66 rated enclosures and air-conditioned network rack to house the power and network equipment. The mast is deployed by means of a simple sliding, locking, tilting and raising process and can be set-up in less than 10 minutes.
